Grand Tableau House Meanings

Are you trying to read a Lenormand Grand Tableau but do not know what the houses mean? Are all of the spread positions in this large layout overwhelming you? If so, don’t worry! I am going to explain the Lenormand Grand Tableau house meanings and list them in detail.

In Lenormand, the most advanced (and fun) type of reading you can perform, is a Lenormand Grand Tableau spread. The Grand Tableau  involves using all 36 cards in a rectangle spread to read you or your client’s fortune on a verity of areas such as love, career, friendships, and more!

If you’re new to reading Lenormand cards, you may think that it is going to be challenging to remember what all 36 of the Lenormand houses mean, but this is not the case. Each house (or spread position) corresponds to each card. Position one has the same meaning as card number one, The Rider. Position two represents the same things as card two, The Clover and so on.

Therefore, the card which falls in House One – The House of Rider – symbolizes any news or messages which you or your seeker will receive.

Below, I am going to list the Grand Tableau House/Position meanings in more detail, so that you can refer back to this list for guidance as needed.

The House of Rider Meaning: The first on our list of Grand Tableau house meanings, is the Rider house. In The House of Rider, you will find information about news, messages, and visitors to your home. Usually, the House of Rider will speak of things you’re told, not written letters as there are other houses in the Grand Tableau for that, but not always.

The House of Clover Meaning: The House of Clover will predict where your luck, fortunes, and wins lie. The House of Clover will represent what is going to happen with regards to your favorable fate.

The House of Ship Meaning: In The Grand Tableau, you can find information about travel, journeys, adventures, and movement all in the third house, The House of Ship.

The House of Home Meaning: The 4th House in The Lenormand Grand Tableau is The House of Home or House of House. Obviously, this house symbolizes your immediate surroundings and your home life.

The House of Tree Meaning: In a Grand Tableau, The House of Tree can represent two things, depending on how you interpret this house. Both your health but also your family matters can pop up in this position. Also, some readers understand this house to symbolize what is stable and sturdy in your life.

The House of Clouds Meaning: The Meaning of The House of Clouds is pretty straight forward in that it represents an area of your life in which you’re going to experience uncertainty and confusion.

The House of Snake Meaning: Your enemies, backstabbers, competitors and people who cannot be trusted can be found in House seven of your Grand Tableau.

The House of Coffin Meaning: In a Lenormand Grand Tableau reading, house eight (The House of Coffin) symbolizes deaths and major illnesses. It is also common for this house to include things in your life which are slowly coming to an end, such as relationships, contracts or friendships.

The House of Bouquet Meaning: The House of Bouquet can contain several things related to beauty, depending on what you have going on in your life at the time. For example, if you’re decorating your home or environment, information about this will appear in The House of Bouquet/Flowers. Or, if you have a beauty treatment, this will pop up in house nine. Alternatively, this house will show where in your life you feel appreciated.

The House of Scythe Meaning: In The House of Scythe, you will find information about anything which will quickly be removed from your life. Sometimes, the House of Scythe will represent

The House of Whip Meaning: Like some other house positions in The Grand Tableau, The House of Whip has two meanings. On the one hand, Whip can be slightly negative symbolizing abuse and arguments. However, The House of Whip can also predict things in your life which will repeatedly happen, which can be positive or negative depending on what it is that keeps popping up.

The House of Birds Meaning: The House of Birds will predict gossip, conversations and chit chat. In modern times, The House of Birds will predict what is going to happen with regards to your social media accounts.

The House of Child Meaning: In The Grand Tableau, you can find information about children, youngsters, and babies all in the thirteenth house, The House of Child.

The House of Fox Meaning: The 14th House in The Lenormand Grand Tableau is The House of Fox. Some people interpret the House of Fox to represent work and career (I am one of these people!) However, some people read the Fox card rather negatively and read the Fox House to symbolize con artists and double-dealers.

The House of Bear Meaning: In a Grand Tableau, The House of Bear can represent two things, depending on how you read this card and spread position. Mainly, this house looks at authority figures such as your mother or boss. However, some of us Lenormand readers also take it to symbolize weight loss, fitness, and lifestyle.

The House of Stars Meaning: The House of Stars predicts information about where you find inspiration, your blessings, hopes and wishes for the future.

The House of Stork Meaning: Like other houses, The House of Stork can hold two meanings. How you interpret this Grand Tableau house will depend on how you interpret the Stork card or the life stage which you/your seeker is at. For example, if you’re likely to get pregnant then this position represents pregnancy. However, for most people, this house position predicts matters related to change, metamorphosis, and transfers.

The House of Dog Meaning: The House of Dog represents your friendships, followers, and confidants. Information about your pets can also pop up in this position.

The House of Tower Meaning: The House of Tower is one of the more straightforward houses of the Grand Tableau. It symbolizes anything related to the government, councils or associations you’re involved in now, or in the future.

The House of Garden Meaning: The Garden is another simple Grand Tableau house. The House of Garden predicts information about your social circle, events, and parties that you will attend. Sometimes, The House of Garden can reflect the society you live in as a whole, but this is rare.

The House of Mountain Meaning: You can make predictions about any long-term obstacles using The House of Mountain. For example, you will discover if your problems are getting better or worst by reading this spread position.

The House of Crossroads Meaning: The House of Crossroads, or House of Ways, reveals information about the choices, dilemmas or decisions you’re going to have to make in the future.

The House of Mice Meaning: Just like the Mice card, The House of Mice has a rather sinister interpretation. In The House of Mice, you can find information about what in your life is deteriorating and slowly breaking down. Sometimes, thefts and losses can also appear in this Grand Tableau house.

The House of Heart Meaning: The House of Heart is very straight forward. Predictions about your love life, romances and relationships will all appear in this house.

The House of Ring Meaning: If you wish to know whether or not your partner is going to commit to you, you can discover this information from The House of Ring. Alternatively, this position of The Grand Tableau will discuss contracts, commitments and promises you will make in the future.

The House of Book Meaning: In Lenormand, the Book card has two main meanings, as does The House of Book. Firstly, this house symbolizes the status of your secrets. In addition to secrets, information about your education can be found in The House of Book.

The House of Letter Meaning: Letters, documents, paper products, certificates, contracts, or anything which will be put into writing will pop up in The House of Letter.

The House of Man Meaning: If your lover (or a potential lover) is male, then their priorities, main focus, and concerns are going to appear in The House of Man. However, if you’re a man, then your main focus, priorities, and concerns will appear in this house.

The House of Woman Meaning: If your lover (or a potential lover) is female, then their priorities, main focus, and concerns are going to appear in The House of Woman. However, if you’re a woman, then your main focus, priorities, and concerns will appear in this house.

The House of Lily Meaning: The House of Lily is pretty straight-forward in that it predicts information about your sense of calmness, peace, and well-being. However, sometimes The House of Lily can give you information about your retirement.

The House of Sun Meaning: The House of Sun will tell you about your successes, triumphs  and life wins. If you’re working towards a goal, this House will reveal whether or not you will achieve it in the future.

The House of Moon Meaning: Just like the Moon card, The House of Moon has two meanings in the Grand Tableau. On one hand, this House represents your reputation, recognition, honor, and influence. On the other hand, The House of Moon can tell you a lot about your intuition and psychic ability.

The House of Key Meaning: In the Grand Tableau, The House of Key will reveal anything in your future which is going to be important, urgent or that which needs your attention.

The House of Fish Meaning: The House of Fish is pretty straightforward – it is the money House! All that is related to your money will be found here. Also, things of value will appear in The House of Fish, so from this house, you can make predictions about property, stocks, shares, and assets. If you’re in business, the health of your company can be read from this position.

The House of Anchor Meaning: The state of anything which is stable or long-term will be revealed in The House of Anchor. The House of Mountain also contains anything which is long-term, but that position is generally more negative than The House of Anchor. The House of Anchor is a neutral house.

The House of Cross Meaning: Finally, any pain, suffering or sacrifices you have to make will pop up in The House of Cross. The House of Cross will tell you if your martyrdoms are going to be worth it in the end.

Learning The Lenormand Meanings And Combinations

Learning Lenormand should not be difficult, challenging or a pain in the ass. It is possible to master all 36 card interpretations quickly, especially if you are already well versed in another method of divination (which most would be Lenormand readers are). However, even though it will help experience with another type of fortune-telling isn’t essential; you can still kill it if you’re a newbie.

I do have some tips which will make your Lenormand journey easier. Follow these, and you’ll be sure to be reading Lenormand in no time!

Stay Away From Busy Decks

Lenormand is a very symbolic method of card reading. You’re trying to combine one symbol with another symbol; that’s the goal, and that is how you are going to design your Lenormand meanings, interpretations and combinations.

If you have a deck that is too busy, it is hard to concentrate on the one symbol you’re trying to interpret. Stay away from decks that have a lot going on in one image. You do not want a cat here, a bird there, a house over there on one card. Busy decks can get very confusing, very quick.

Instead, try to go for decks which are as minimal as possible. Minimal decks will not depict a scene, just the symbol. OR if they do depict a scene, the symbol you have to interpret is obvious. Purchase decks which only feature a woman on the lady card, not a woman eating ice cream, walking along the beach getting peaked alive by a crow, being followed by a dog.

Put Yourself In The Hot Seat

There will be divination teachers online who will tell you that you should be practicing a method of reading for months, even years before you read other people with that system. In most cases, these people are full of shit.

One of the fastest ways you can learn is to throw yourself into the hot seat. Even if you do not feel like you have mastered all of the cards correctly, it is best to get experience performing real readings with a system ASAP. If you wait until you ‘feel ready’ you’ll never be ready. You have to jump in there before you’re comfortable.

Watch Other Readers

Spying on how other Lenormand readers read the cards and make combinations is probably your best bet when it comes to learning Lenormand.

When I first started reading Lenormand, I joined many Lenormand Facebook groups and watched how the readers interpreted different types of readings. I genuinely believe that this was one thing that helped me make sense of the meanings and how to put combinations together correctly.

Having other people to watch did assist in my Lenormand. Therefore, on my social media platforms I often post practice readings that my followers can interpret. Doing this is good practice, not just for the participants but also for newbies who may just be lurking until they have the confidence to join in. We interpret Lenormand, dreams, Tarot, whatever! Check us out on Facebook and Instagram.

Take A Course

There is a lot to learn with Lenormand. You don’t just have the interpretations to learn but also HOW to combine cards and other things such as houses, knighting, timing, etc. It can all get a bit overwhelming, confusing and expensive if you’re buying books which turn out to be a waste of time (I once bought a Lenormand book and paid an additional £8 for delivery which turned out to be a piece of shit.)

If you’re a visual learner and wish to master Lenormand from start to finish completely, I have a Lenormand course. Through my course, you can discover scores of Lenormand reading information, with new content every week for ten weeks. You can receive updates when the course goes live by signing up to my newsletter. Just sign up for one of my free guides and you’re all set!

Keep Going

As with all methods of divination, it is essential that you do not get discouraged and keep pushing towards your fortune-telling goals.

You might look at your favorite diviners in awe and wonder why they are so amazing, how they come up with such perfect interpretations, how their brains and intuition seem to work differently. The secret is, there are no secrets, they keep going and never give up.

You may be tempted to put your Lenormand cards down and stop reading. You might get discouraged from a shitty reading, or think there are too many interpretations to learn. Trust me when I tell you: you can do this!

If you keep going, you will come out on the other side. If you master Lenormand, you will be able to predict, with accuracy, the past, and the future in love, business, career, health, family and a total of 36 life areas. You will be able to knock your seeker’s socks off with your knowledge of their life in its entirety. Now, isn’t that worth pushing for?

That is all for the Lenormand meanings and combinations list! On this site, I also have a free Lenormand for Beginners Guide. You can download that guide here

Want to know all of the thirty-six Lenormand card meanings and combinations? Here is a list of Lenormand meanings and combinations for beginners!

Lenormand For Beginners

There’s a fortune-telling system which you probably don’t know about. This system allows you to read the future, give literal interpretations and look at up to 36 different areas of a seeker’s life. In a flash, you can get a snapshot of someone’s love, career, and spirituality. The system which I speak of is Lenormand. This is how to read Lenormand for beginners! Let’s get learning!

Lenormand cards are similar to Tarot in that they are used for fortune-telling. However they are read in a different way. In my next post, I will discuss how Lenormand cards are read. In this post I will: give a quick history of Lenormand; I will provide an overview of how you can perform readings; and the general interpretations which I use for the cards.

History of Lenormand For Beginners

Lenormand cards are a deck of 36 images of different things that you would come across in day to day life and nature such as a house, a child, and a fox. Lenormand cards were named after the fortune teller Mlle. Marie Anne Adelaide Lenormand. However, they were invented after her death from the 1850s and became popular in Germany and France. Originally they were used as both a game and also for fortune-telling.

How Lenormand Cards Are Read

Unlike Tarot cards, Lenormand cards do not have multitudes of spreads associated with them. Typically, they are read in ‘strings’ of 3,5 or 7 cards, in a table of 3×3 which uses nine cards and in something called a Grand Tableau which uses all of the cards in the deck. The interpretations of 2 cards or more cards are combined to form one detailed interpretation.

After you learn the interpretations, you will have the skills to be able to read a Grand Tableau for yourself (which is the most complex spread).

Meanings of Lenormand For Beginners

Lenormand For Beginners - Learn how to read Lenormand
My Lenormand deck – The Diviner’s Lenormand.

Here are the interpretations I use for each card. As everyone has their style of readings, you can build on these using your impressions of the cards to make them personal to you; this is the best way to learn. Just as I have my interpretations, other fortune-tellers may have different ideas of how they should read the cards. In these posts, I will refer to the person getting the reading as the seeker.

1 Rider: Diviners association the Rider with messages and news. Sometimes, the rider can represent a person, a messenger who will come into or leave the seeker’s life.

(Lenormand for beginners tip: Do not confuse the Lenormand Rider with the Knights in Tarot as they are not the same thing!)

2 Clover: The Clover is associated with luck (see how easy this is!). It can mean anything where the outcome will be in the seeker’s favor, especially good investments and gamblings — also, things happening by fate and destiny; such as a chance meeting with a future lover.

3 Ship: The Ship symbolizes travels. These can be trips abroad or even trips back to the seeker’s place of origin. The Ship can also show anything long distant, such as in love and work and also anything which is foreign. The ship can also bring new opportunities.

4 Home: The Home/House is associated with the home and family. On a more personal level, it is what makes the seeker feel secure. It can also mean structures as in real-estate.

5 Tree: Usually The Tree is associated with health but also family and traditions. Tree can also symbolize personal growth and growth of businesses and relationships.

6 Clouds: The Clouds are anything that causes your seeker uncertainty and confusion. In a Grand Tableau, the reason why the seeker has visited a fortune teller can usually be found in the house of the clouds.

7 Snake: The Snake is quite a devious card and represents anyone in the seeker’s life who has a manipulative nature, is two-faced or wishes evil on them. Usually, it is not who they think it is. The Snake is also associated with sexualization and sometimes ‘the other woman.’

8 Coffin: The Coffin is anything that has or will soon come to an end. The end of this may cause sadness. In some cases, it can symbolize a real death. This card usually is anything that has come to an end slowly (there’s another card for when it happens quickly).

9 Bouquet: The Bouquet basically appreciation. It can be an appreciation from others, or the seeker may be the recipient of the appreciation. In relationships, it can be receiving the little, simple things which make a relationship special.

10 Scythe: Usually The Scythe symbolizes anything which comes to an end quickly and fast decisions. The Scythe can also be a warning of something which needs your attention and should be dealt with. In the literal sense, it can be surgery, cuts, and accidents.

11 Whip: The Whip is anything that seems to happen repeatedly in your life and patterns you go through. It can also signal discussions, arguments, and at worst abuse. This can be abuse from others or abuse or self-abuse. The whip is anything that causes the seeker stress.

12 Birds: The Birds are communications that seem to spread quickly such as gossip and small talk. In the modern world, these communications can represent social networking like Twitter and Facebook but also online dating and forums. In the family, it can represent an older couple, twins, and siblings.

13 Child: The Child can be either children or the seeker’s childhood. The positive aspects of this can be anything small, fun, young or innocent but negatively it can reflect a childish and stroppy attitude.

14 Fox: The Fox can symbolize cunning. Positively it can be someone who can rise above others and stand out in the workplace. Their commitment to the job at hand comes before any emotional attachments to people. The Fox represents anything that is unconventional in some way. Negatively, it can represent there are lies and trickery at play in the seeker’s life.

15 Bear: The Bear symbolizes personal finances. In other aspects, it can be associated with authority figures, such as bosses, teachers and sometimes parents.

16 Stars: The Stars are associated with the seeker’s hopes and dreams. It may also be where they ‘shine’ and also where they can do with some encouragement.

(Lenormand for beginners tip: Do not confuse the Lenormand Stars with The Star in Tarot!)

17 Stork: The Stork symbolizes changes and sometimes travel, movement and where the seeker finds comfort. The Stork is a good omen for questions related to expanding the family.

18 Dog: It is evident that the dog represents friends. In other aspects, it can represent loyalty and where the seeker keeps their loyalty. Sometimes it can symbolize family pets.

19 Tower: If you’re learning how to read Lenormand for beginners (and are coming to Lenormand from Tarot) you should know that unlike in the Tarot, The Tower in Lenormand is firm and stable. The Tower represents protection and also where our ambitions lie. Sometimes it can represent the government and official matters; the seeker may need to get their formal affairs in order, or they may work for an official body.

20 Garden: The Garden signals social events, parties, networking and places where people meet. It can also represent parks, barbecues, and real gardens. The Garden can reflect our place in society and any social groups we may be apart of.

21 Mountains: The Mountains reflect any long-term problems which are a challenge to overcome. In readings, they can represent delays to our plans. In the literal sense, they can represent real mountains.

22 Crossroads: Sometimes called ‘Ways’ this card reflects decisions which the seeker may have to face. These choices can be many things, and the path may be uncertain. In the literal sense, they can represent someone who is active and goal orientated.

23 Mice: The Mice represents anything that is causing the seeker stress. They also represent anything that is being ‘eaten away at’ overtime. A mouse can nibble an entire home given enough time to do so. Sometimes mice can be a warning of loss and theft.

24 Heart: The Heart is pretty self-explanatory. It represents, love, relationships, and romance. Other times, it represents anything which the seeker has put their heart into such as their children or career.

25 Ring: The Ring symbolizes commitments. These are engagements but can also be contracts, agreements, and mortgages. In the literal sense, The Ring represents jewelry and anything small but of monetary or sentimental value.

26 Book: Book represents education, skills, and lessons which the seeker is or must learn. Usually, books reveal secrets and knowledge which may or may not be known to the seeker.

27 Letter: The Letter card symbolizes letter-like forms of communication, and also news. These can appear as a physical letter, document, package and also in modern terms emails and electronic type messages.

28 Man: In Lenormand, The Man can represent the seeker themselves if they are male. For a woman, The Man can be a husband, boyfriend, son, male friend, etc.*

29 Lady: The Lady can represent the seeker if they are female. For a male seeker, it can represent a wife, a girlfriend, daughter, female friend. *

31 Sun: The Sun is a good omen for success. The Sun card can represent anything that has been accomplished and also the seeker’s happiness. (When learning how to read Lenormand for beginners, remember that the Sun in Lenormand is different from The Sun in Tarot).

32 Moon: Moon represents the seeker’s reputation and the image which they put out to others, basically where they find fame. Another interpretation of the moon is that it reflects the seeker’s emotions and also intuition. (When learning how to read Lenormand for beginners, remember that the Moon in Lenormand is different from The Moon in Tarot).

33 The Key:  Key can flag up anything which is important in a reading and needs the seeker’s attention. It can be anything which they must concentrate on. The Key also represents what not only needs unlocked within themselves but also where they shut themselves off from others.

34 Fish:  Fish represents the seeker’s finances, resources, and business. The Fish are related to anything to do with money and how the seeker gets money. In the literal sense, it can represent lakes, canals, and oceans. Watch out for common cards surrounding the fish; the seeker may enjoy drinking like one!

35 Anchor:  Anchor represents anything in the seeker’s life that is both long-term and stable. It can represent their commitments which they are tied to. In the literal, day to day since it can represent trips to the beach.

36 Cross: Usually, Cross represents burdens which the seeker carries. These strains may cause the seeker pain either physically and emotionally. Sometimes, it can represent the seeker’s fate and destiny and also the influence of established religion within their childhood home.

** If the seeker is homosexual there are several things which you can do to represent their lover. Firstly, you can have two Man or two Lady cards from different decks, but I find this confusing. Personally, I just keep it as it is and use the Lady or Man to represent the seeker’s man or woman. It is up to personal preference, though.

Do you want to know the Lenormand Cross card meaning? Are you curious about what the Cross beginner interpretation might be? Here, you can discover how to read the Lenormand Cross card! Includes Lenormand Cross meanings for love, timing, the card as a person and more!

Below are the interpretations and meanings of the Cross Lenormand card. On this Lenormand Oracle site, I also have Cross card combinations, feel free to check that out too!

Cross – 36

Keywords: Burdens, struggles, suffering, crosses we bear, pain, sacrifices, religion, symbolism, fate, destiny, the cross.

General Lenormand Cross Card Meaning

Many will mistake the Cross as representing something favorable. In modern times, we associate crosses with Jesus, rightfulness and helping others. Sadly, in Lenormand Cross reflects the more negative face of crucifixion.  When you think of the Cross, think of Jesus wandering through the streets with a cross strapped to his back while he bleeds to death.

In Lenormand, Cross is the card of suffering and struggles. It will be the crosses which you bear in life. If something is going to be more of a burden than it is worth, Cross will pop up in your reading.

Sometimes, the Cross card is the sacrifices you’re making. Just like Jesus died for our sins, you will have to give up something major for something else to be a success. A project may cost you a lot more than you expect.

The odd time, this card can inject an air of religion to your life. The Cross card can embody religion, philosophy, belief, and symbolism. Therefore, the odd time that the Cross doesn’t represent a negative meaning in your Lenormand reading, it could be predicting spirituality.

Specific Lenormand Cross Card Meaning

Cross Love Meaning: Cross can signify that you find your relationship more of a burden than a pleasure. However, it will also come up if your partner is suffering from an illness and you act as their caregiver. If you are single, it can suggest that, for the time being, you are meant to be alone.

Cross Career Meaning: Sometimes Cross will appear when you’re about to be in trouble at work. Alternatively, you may be playing the martyr or acting as a scapegoat.

Cross Business Meaning: If your business is a heavy burden on you, Cross will embody this meaning. It is entirely possible that you do not want what you have built. In a desirable reading, it can mean that you are fulfilling your destiny through your work.

Cross Positive Meaning: Cross can show what is meant to be if this is what you want.

Cross Negative Meaning: Cross can show what is not meant to be or what is destined, but not enjoyable. In general, it is the card of pain and suffering.

Cross as a Person: When it represents a person, Cross can be a religious person, a superstitious person, a priest, a pastor, a shaman, a tata, or a mambo. In some cases, Cross will symbolize someone who is in pain, or an individual who is a burden to you.

Cross Timing Meaning: Some Lenormand readers believe that Cross means that something will happen too soon, or before you’re ready. I take Cross to mean that events will unfold around Christmas or Easter time.

Lenormand Anchor Card Meaning

Lenormand Anchor Card Meaning

Do you want to know the Lenormand Anchor card meaning? Are you curious about what the Anchor beginner interpretation might be? Here, you can discover how to read the Lenormand Anchor card! Includes Lenormand Anchor meanings for love, timing, the card as a person and more!

Below are the interpretations and meanings of the Anchor Lenormand card. On this Lenormand Oracle site, I also have Anchor card combinations, feel free to check that out too!

Anchor – 35

Keywords: Stability, security, lack of worry, consistency, long-term, steadiness, stuck, anchors, the beach.

General Lenormand Anchor Card Meaning

The Anchor card is a pretty simple card to interpret. Think of what an anchor does for a ship; secure them to the beach so that they don’t float out to sea. Therefore, the Anchor card represents stability and security.

Anything mixed with this card will be long-term and consistent. Unless the other cards it is combined with are particularly dire, Anchor is usually a good omen (remember it is the Mountain which signals long-term problems). Therefore, if you are looking for a long-term partner or career, Anchor will have a positive impact on you if this meaning applies.

There are more negative faces to the Anchor, especially you want change. Sometimes, this card can be symbolic of an inability to move forward and implies that you may be stuck or trapped in your current situation.

In the literal sense, the Anchor can obviously be a real anchor, and sometimes it can be a beach. If combined with ‘holiday’ styled cards (Sun or Ship), you can expect sandy strolls in the near future. Other literal meanings include it symbolizing an Anchor shape, such as a tattoo.

Specific Lenormand Anchor Card Meanings

Anchor Love Meaning: Anchor means that your relationship is stable and your partner is not going anywhere anytime soon. If you are single, in the future, you will meet someone who will be a consistent feature in your life for the foreseeable future.

Anchor Career Meaning: Anchor appears if your job is secure. It is a negative card for the unemployed as it can mean that you will find it difficult, if not near impossible, to move forward.

Anchor Business Meaning: Anchor epitomizes the stability of your business. Whether this is a good or bad thing depends on surrounding cards and the mood of the reading.

Anchor Positive Meaning: Anchor as a welcomed influence means that you will find happiness in your current situation.

Anchor Negative Meaning: The Anchor card in a negative reading means that you feel stuck in an area of your life. You feel unable to move forward.

Anchor as a Person: Anchor typically represents a person who will be a consistent feature in your life. This individual is steady and stable. If you’re looking for a long-term relationship with a ‘normal’ person, Anchor is a good omen.

Anchor Timing Meaning: Your current situation will remain the same. So, if you are in a relationship, it will remain stable for the foreseeable future. By contrast, if you are single, you will be alone for the foreseeable future.

Lenormand Fish Card Meaning

Lenormand Fish Card Meaning

Do you want to know the Lenormand Fish card meaning? Are you curious about what the Fish beginner interpretation might be? Here, you can discover how to read the Lenormand Fish card! Includes Lenormand Fish meanings for love, timing, the card as a person and more!

Below are the interpretations and meanings of the Fish Lenormand card. On this Lenormand Oracle site, I also have Fish card combinations, feel free to check that out too!

Fish -34

Keywords: Finances, money, investments, resources, business, sales, alcohol, rivers, lakes, fish.

General Lenormand Fish Meaning

The Fish is the card of business and money. Some readers say Bear reflects your personal finances and Fish will speak of business finances. I don’t really use that interpretation because, for me, Fish is the money card. However, feel free to use whichever meaning lights up your soul.

If you are is in business and Fish comes up in your Lenormand reading, then this is a positive sign. When the rest of the reading is rosy this card shows that, soon, the sales will start to flood into your company.

Sometimes, this card will speak of other valuable resources which you have. Investments, real estate, and large purchases are all represented by Fish.

In the literal sense, Fish symbolizes fish, water, rivers, and oceans. Sometimes, it can represent liquid and alcohol (drink like a fish!). Drinking too much might become a problem.

Specific Lenormand Fish Meaning

Fish Love Meaning: In love readings, I usually see Fish as being a partner’s resources. Sometimes, it may be that you and your partner are about to make a large purchase, such as a house or car. If you are single, Fish may mean that you will get involved with someone who runs their own business.

Fish Career Meaning: Fish can represent a longing for business. You want to break away and work on your own. If this meaning doesn’t apply to you, Fish can mean that you will get a bonus or pay increase.

Fish Business Meaning: Fish is the business card so should come up in a business reading. If it doesn’t make an appearance, I would be concerned. Perhaps a lack of fish can mean that your business is not turning a profit.

Fish Positive Meaning: Fish is a good card in any reading because it represents financial increases.

Fish Negative Meaning: Fish can show up when you have trouble handling money. If you or someone in your life suffers from alcohol abuse, then this will manifest as the Fish card.

Fish as a Person: Fish can represent someone who is in business, someone who has money, someone who invests their money well, or a person who works in the financial sector. In some cases, Fish can symbolize an addict (usually a person who drinks too much, spends a lot or gambles).

Fish Timing Meaning: Traditionally, Fish predicts that an event will take place within one month or one season.

Lenormand Key Card Meaning

Lenormand Key card meaning

Do you want to know the Lenormand Key card meaning? Are you curious about what the Key beginner interpretation might be? Here, you can discover how to read the Lenormand Key card! Includes Lenormand Key meanings for love, timing, the card as a person and more!

Below are the interpretations and meanings of the Key Lenormand card. On this Lenormand Oracle site, I also have Key card combinations, feel free to check that out too!

Key – 33

Keywords: Significance, that which is important, what needs to be paid attention to, that which is urgent, what needs to be opened up, what needs to be locked away, keys.

General Lenormand Key Meaning

Key is one of the most obscure cards in Lenormand, and many readers find it hard to interpret. Ironically, it is one of only a select few cards to have just a couple of possible meanings, but this fact doesn’t seem to make interpreting it any easier.

Key highlights what is important and needs your attention. For example, if you’re reading a Grand Tableau, the House which Key falls into will be a place in your life which you have to deal with urgently. Key is a direct message from your spirits that there is either an issue or an opportunity which you must grab now.

In general, the Key card will represent something which will become significant in your life. For example, a significant career change or love affair.

In some cases, Key can be similar to the Book in that it can highlight secrets. However, Key wants you to take action on what you know. Getting this card can mean that you either need to keep what you’re hiding to yourself (lock away) or share with others (open up). The context and feel of the reading will give more clues to what action you should take.

Like all cards, Key can be literal, and in some rare cases, it can be a real key. I once read at a charity event and the woman getting the reading had lost her key outside of her house. The Lenormand predicted it was in the garden (HomeKeyGarden).

Specific Lenormand Key Meaning

Key Love Meaning: In love readings, Key represents a significant relationship. It can sometimes be the key to your heart.

Key Career Meaning: Key symbolises an important job.

Key Business Meaning: Obviously, Key can mean that your business is important to you. Sometimes, it will also mean that you should pay more attention to the details of your business.

Key Positive Meaning: Key is not positive or negative, it merely highlights what is important.  However, it is a welcomed card to get in any reading.

Key Negative Meaning: If Key appears in a negative context 99.999% of the time it will be because you’re not paying attention to pressing matters or ignoring the obvious.

Key as a Person: Key can represent a very important person, a significant person or someone who needs dealt with urgently. Key can also symbolize a locksmith or a security guard.

Key Timing Meaning: This event will take place very soon, however, you must move quickly before this opportunity disappears!

Lenormand Moon Card Meaning

Lenormand Moon Card Meaning

Do you want to know the Lenormand Moon card meaning? Are you curious about what the Moon beginner interpretation might be? Here, you can discover how to read the Lenormand Moon card! Includes Lenormand Moon meanings for love, timing, the card as a person and more!

Below are the interpretations and meanings of the Moon Lenormand card. On this Lenormand Oracle site, I also have Moon card combinations, feel free to check that out too!

Moon – 32

Keywords: Recognition, reputation, cycles, emotions, psychic ability, intuition, magic, creativity, the moon, the ocean.

General Lenormand Moon Meaning

Moon is not unlike The Moon in Tarot in the sense that some of the ‘psychic’ interpretations are similar. However, try not to fall into the habit of using The Tarot Moon meaning all of the time: this is Lenormand! The Lenormand Moon has some kind of cool meanings which I have found to be both reliable and accurate so do not abandon them.

Often, this card speaks of any recognition you will receive and also symbolizes your reputation. Think of how The card Moon shines the spotlight in the dark. How other people view you will be relevant when Moon appears. Whether you have built up a positive reputation or a negative one is dependent on context and the cards the Moon is combined with.

Apparently, Moon can symbolize your psychic ability, intuition, and similar jazz. Around the world, the moon is associated with females, emotions, and hormones because of its 28-day cycle. In fact, things which come and go and happen in cycles is a common interpretation for the Moon card. As the ocean washes in and out, you can read this card this way.

Sometimes, this card can represent your feelings. If you know something is not quite right due to your woman’s intuition, then expect the moon in your reading.

Specific Lenormand Moon Meaning

Moon Love Meaning: In love readings, Moon can represent the wants of the females in a relationship. Sometimes, it can reflect how society perceives the partnership. If you suspect that your partner is unfaithful, these emotions can manifest as Moon.

Moon Career Meaning: Sometimes, the Moon card can mean that your job is in a traditional ‘female’ occupation or that you deal with a lot of women customers. Alternatively, you will have to use your intuition to navigate the workplace.

Moon Business Meaning: Moon usually comes up in business readings because it speaks of your reputation and the name you have for yourself. Whether this is a good or a bad thing is dependent entirely on context.

Moon Positive Meaning: The Moon can symbolize being well-known for good things. This card can also mean that you will put your creativity and psychic abilities to good use.

Moon Negative Meaning: The Moon appears as a negative when you are well-known for negative things. You may be associated with something you would rather not be. Sometimes, it can mean that you use your psychic ability or, even, magic for evil means.

Moon as a Person: Moon can symbolize a witch, a diviner, a psychic or an intuitive person. Sometimes, Moon can represent a person who is feminine.

Moon Timing Meaning: Moon can mean that an event is going to take place at nighttime or within 28-days.

Lenormand Sun Card Meaning

Lenormand Sun Card Meaning

Do you want to know the Lenormand Sun card meaning? Are you curious about what the Sun beginner interpretation might be? Here, you can discover how to read the Lenormand Sun card! Includes Lenormand Sun meanings for love, timing, the card as a person and more!

Below are the interpretations and meanings of the Sun Lenormand card. On this Lenormand Oracle site, I also have Sun card combinations, feel free to check that out too!

Sun – 31

Keywords: Success, achievements, accomplishments, triumphs, nice weather, masculine, holidays, summertime.

General Lenormand Sun Meaning

The Sun in Lenormand is pretty much The Sun in Tarot. Just like in Tarot, this Sun represents success and achievements. If you are craving a positive outcome, you should hope for Sun. Not only does it symbolize your accomplishments, but in general it is reflective of the happiness which is yet to come.

If you’re worried about something working out or going your way this card is a positive omen. Because Sun is masculine, it is especially useful for competitions. Are you going up against another business? Yours will be the one to thrive. The interview for that job? You’ll get it. Eyeing up that hot guy on Instagram? He’s interested. It is very rare for the Sun not to be a good sign.

It is needless to say that literally, this card can be the real sun. Therefore, the Sun is the card of summertime, holidays, good weather and warm destinations.

Specific Lenormand Sun Meaning

Sun Love Meaning: In love readings, Sun is a good sign as it shows there is happiness in the relationship and that it is on good ground. If you’re looking for love, Sun means that you are about to meet the person who answers all of your prayers.

Sun Career Meaning: The Sun is probably most favorable for career and business as it represents success in these areas.

Sun Business Meaning: The Sun is a fantastic card for business. It usually means that your company or project is going to be successful.

Sun Positive Meaning: The Sun card is mostly welcomed representing happiness, triumph, success and all the things you’re hoping for.

Sun Negative Meaning: The Sun cannot be too brutal. However, if it is the only card to come up in a bad reading, it could be a sign that any success you achieve will be short-lived. Sometimes the Sun in both Lenormand and Tarot can mean that the sun is blinding you to the truth of a situation: you’re more optimistic than realistic.

Sun as a Person: Sun can symbolize a happy person, a positive person, or someone who is successful. Sometimes, Sun represents a masculine individual.

Sun Timing Meaning: Sun means that something is going to take place during Summertime.

So, that’s it for Lenormand Sun card meanings! You can see more Lenormand card meanings and Lenormand Sun combinations on this website.

Lenormand Lily Card Meaning

Lenormand Lily Card Meaning

Do you want to know the Lenormand Lily card meaning? Are you curious about what the Lily beginner interpretation might be? Here, you can discover how to read the Lenormand Lily card! Includes Lenormand Lily meanings for love, timing, the card as a person and more!

Below are the interpretations and meanings of the Lily Lenormand card. On this Lenormand Oracle site, I also have Lily card combinations, feel free to check that out too!

Lily – 30

Keywords: Purity, sex, sexuality, peace, calm, older men, maturity, retirement, contentment, signs and messages from spirit, winter time.

General Lenormand Lily Meaning

The Lily is a funny card and how you interpret it depends heavily on your culture and feelings.

One of the interpretations for this card is that it speaks of sex and sexuality. Personally, because I am a Romany Gypsy, I do not generally discuss things like sex when giving readings (however, there has been times when my seekers have brought it up themselves which I am okay with). Therefore, I do not go into a reading with the mind frame that Lily represents sexuality, and this interpretation is not really on my radar. However, I know some readers who only use this meaning, so feel free if you’re one of them.

By complete contrast, Lily can be a card of purity and virginity. Conflicting interpretation may make you nervous but honestly, trust your spirits, and you’ll know which one is right.

In general, Lily just speaks of peace and calmness. If you’re looking to be quite happy and content in an area of your life, then you want to get this card. Sometimes, the card represents maturity and even retirement. A traditional interpretation is that this card symbolizes older men.

Because lily flowers are one of my signs from spirit, I interpret this card as a message from one of my ancestors. However, you do not need to read the Lily this way if you do not want to do so.

In a literal reading, the Lily represents real lily flowers. It can even represent the name Lily, Lilly or Elizabeth.

Specific Lenormand Lily Meaning

Lily Love Meaning: The Lily can speak of pure love, a relationship with is sexually passionate and a lover who is older than you.

Lily Career Meaning: Lily is the card of calmness in the workplace. Alternatively, it represents retirement.

Lily Business Meaning: Usually, Lily and what it is combined with will represent your business at Winter and Christmas time.

Lily Positive Meaning: In a desirable reading, Lily is good sex, encouraging signs from spirit, peace, calm and maturity.

Lily Negative Meaning: In a negative reading, The Lily is a warning from spirit, or is symbolic of the fact that you are too old fashioned and trapped in your ways.

Lily as a Person: Traditionally, Lily is associated with older men, maturity and retired people. Sometimes, Lily can also represent a peaceful, calm and/or content person.

Lily Timing Meaning: Lily means that something is going to take place during Wintertime.
